Q: How do I prep for my appointment?
A: Please shave the treatment area before arriving for your appointment. Do not apply any deodorants, lotions, or creams.

Q: Does it hurt?

A: Many of our customers describe the sensation as a quick snapping feeling and much less pain than waxing. We use a cooling ice roller that calms the skin area and creates a soothing feeling before and after each treatment.Unlike some other machines this technology is not painful.

Q: How long will it last?
A: Hair growth is hormonal so this can be different for every client. We typically see results last for 5 to 10 years before any touch ups may be needed. Please keep in mind that hormonal changes such as pregnancy or menopause can trigger hair growth.

Q: What happens if I have to cancel or change an appointment?
A: If you are not able to make your appointment time please call immediately to notify us. Cancellations must be make more that 24 hours before your appointment. There will be a $55 fee for appointments not cancelled within this time period.

Q: What training do your technicians have?
A: All of our technicians are certified laser hair treatment specialists.

Q: Are there any health risks?
A: Laser hair removal is safe for any age group from adolescent and above. If you are taking light sensitive medications please inform us right away. There is a risk of burning due to these medications. Although there are no studies that have shown risk to being treated while pregnant we recommend that you wait for treatment until after pregnancy.

Q: What time of year should I get laser?
A: If you’re preparing for the summer months the best time of year is getting your treatment started in the fall.  However, you will see less hair with every treatment so getting started in winter or spring can help to reduce your hair maintenance almost right away.  Please note that sun exposure reduces effectiveness, we ask that you do not tan the area that you wish to have treated.

Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: The number of sessions need is different for everyone. We have found that on average 8 to 10 treatments is the most effective.

Q: How does it work?
A: Click here for our HOW IT WORKS page

Q: Can I laser tanned skin?
A: The laser is attracted to pigment. It is best to keep the area you are having treated as close to your natural skin color as you can. This includes indoor tanning and spray tans. Ask us about effective ways to tan and properly protect your desired treatment area.

Q: Can my preteen get laser hair removal done?
A: Yes, with the permission of a parent and a consultation. We ask that you keep in mind that when your children are going through hormonal changes there may be variances in the results and will require touch ups before an adult may. We treat many adolescents and are happy to answer any further questions you may have about this.

Q: What if I don't complete 8 to 10 treatments?
A: The most effective results require completing a full treatment regiment. Some customers see results in as little as 3 treatments but this does not mean that the hair follicle has been fully transformed yet. Not completing the treatments may result in full hair growth returning in 3 months or less.
